Run Rituals. Chapter II: Aurora Papotti

Getting ready, I tie my hair. A bit of stretching but I'm actually really bad at it. I do it only in January when we have the January battle with Running Junkies. It's a battle where we run 100km in a month. So then you start to feel it a lot.

So generally I get ready, put my hair up, and then I just get out of the door. When I come back I always have a glass of chocolate milk and then I check my Strava. If I do a workout I like to check the stats of the activity or to check other people what they did.

My roommate has a dog, Rrüge, so I always cuddle with her after I get back. She's about 10 years old and still really active. In the summer after I come back from a run she likes to lick the sweat off me (laughs).

If I'm with friends I do take some photo's after my run, or if it's nice out I take pictures and post on Strava or Instagram. I also like to end my long runs at a café and treat myself with something sweet, like a pistachio escargot from Grammes.
